Vencha Growth Methodology

1. Pain Statement Visualisation

Our process always begins with the creation on a visual Pain Statement that, without using a thousand words, accurately encapsulates the broken processes that your software solves. We have countless examples of these to share.

2. Testing the Thesis with ICP Personas

Once we’re all agreed on the Pain Statement it’s then critical to test that our thesis is correct by talking to Buying Personas across the customer base and pipeline. Is this a pain that they recognise? Have we captured it correctly? Is budget available to fix it?

3. Defining the Perfect Customer

Before you can be everything to everyone, you need to be something to someone. Our process here forces you to get uncomfortably narrow about the shape and size of your perfect customer. We’ll also assess which persona has the budget to purchase your solution.

4. Building the Market Map

Now we’ve validated the pain we solve is visceral and agreed the attributes of our perfect customer, we need to build a list of 300-500 of them. And to focus our minds even more, we will create a Market Map face book so we can visualise perfectly who we’re for.

5. Sharpening up the Messaging

It’s now time to take a long hard look at your messaging – on the website, in the sales deck and across your marketing collateral. Does your message capture the Why rather than the What? It’s critical when our targets see our message it resonates deeply.
